About Iron Workers Local Union No. 263

     Iron Workers Local Union No. 263 was chartered on November 20, 1918 in Fort Worth, Texas.

     The majority of our work is the erection of structural steel along with precast concrete erection but also includes architectural and miscellaneous steel.  Recent years have seen an increase of specialty work such as the erection of Wind Turbines in West Texas and Oklahoma along with Industrial Maintenance Projects.

     Local 263’s jurisdiction includes 132 of the 254 counties in Texas.   Jurisdictional boundaries extend from the line just West of Tyler, Texas to El Paso, Texas and everything north and some counties south of that line, including 17 counties in Oklahoma (along the Texas border).
